I’m Dhara, a storyteller, professional third wheel, and someone who cries at good lighting and sentimental moments (which honestly happens more than I’d like to admit).
I’ve always been drawn to the little things people don’t realize are beautiful until they’re gone; the nervous hand squeeze before vows, the way someone laughs when they forget the camera’s there, the quiet kind of love that doesn’t need to perform. That’s the stuff I live for.
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. What started as “wait, this looks kinda cool” slowly turned into something much deeper, a way to hold onto moments that would otherwise slip by too fast. I’ve had the honor of photographing so many incredible stories: Chaotic family hugs, happy tears, belly laughs… and at least one toddler sprinting directly away from me at full speed. Every session reminds me why I love this work so much.
I’m not here for stiff poses or perfect everything. I care way more about connection than perfection. I want your photos to feel like you, honest, emotional, a little messy in the best way, and full of life. The in-between moments are usually my favorite anyway.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably outside chasing sunsets, romanticizing ordinary life, listening to music in the car like I’m in a coming-of-age movie, or spending time with the people I love most. Those quiet, meaningful moments inspire everything I create.
To me, photography isn’t just about pretty images.
It’s about preserving feelings.
